Our Story 

How it all started...

Jordan is a true traveler, a cyclist and a true entrepreneur. Having started a successful coffee shop in Victoria in 2016, she knew she wanted to eventually bring her start-up spirit back to her hometown of Calgary Canada. 

In the summer of 2018 she worked at her neighbour and friends' company Lazy Day Rafts rentals Calgary. It became clear that lots of people, locals and tourists alike, were looking for fun ways to spend the sunny days in Calgary. 

For the past ten years she's been riding a folding bike (and listening to the Talking Heads, for that matter) and after several failed attempts at getting a coffee shop off the ground she decided to combine her other passions of checking out all the fun places to see in Calgary, coming up with fun activities and sharing her city with others. And thus, this crazy adventure - part bike shop, part Calgary tour, part local business promotion company - we call River Wheels was born.
